Tales of the Diaspora, is my first full length album and is a musical exploration of my experiences and my roots. Part of this project was for me, to help me process some of the experiences I had growing up and figure out where I stand in the Jewish community as a whole. Another part of it was motivated by this desire to uplift the community at a time when antisemitic discourse and antisemitic violence against our communities keeps getting worse, as a way to say hey, it’s okay to be proud of who we are as a people and where it is we come from and what we’ve been through because that’s part of what makes us beautiful. My hope is that someone listening will resonate with some of the things I am saying and will feel seen and a little less alone. Thank you so much to all the people who helped make this project possible, I truly could not have done this without you!
